The eye examination is the foundation of excellent eye care, and we continually invest in the latest technology to give our patients the most accurate results. For many years, the fundus camera was considered the gold standard for assessing eye health. Today, however, modern hospital eye departments have moved towards Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) – a state-of-the-art diagnostic scan that provides a detailed 3D view of the retina. We are proud to be one of only a handful of practices in the area able to offer this advanced test on-site.
Most importantly, our IP-trained optometrists (Independent Prescribers) are highly qualified not only to test your vision but also to diagnose, manage, and treat a wide range of eye conditions. Unlike many high-street providers, we can prescribe and manage treatment plans directly, giving you faster access to expert-led care without unnecessary delays.
